Brinn Talbot, long-time resident of Lake Tahoe/Truckee, is passionate and knowledgeable about the greater Lake Tahoe/Reno markets and is known for taking clients from start to finish no matter how challenging a transaction might be.
Brinn’s natural transition to real estate was made easy with a background of more than 25+ years in marketing and customer service prior to starting a career in real estate. While running her own marketing agency for three decades, she spearheaded corporate public relation efforts for numerous real estate and development companies including the Town of Truckee, East West Partners, JMA Ventures to name a few and also served as director of marketing at Tahoe Donner Association for over four years.
Brinn specializes in destination resort to rural real estate opportunities and brings a high-level of understanding her client’s needs for buying and selling real estate and specializes in residential and commercial in both California and Nevada. Coming from a ranching family and being an avid skier and outdoors-woman, she focuses her real estate efforts on helping clients buy or sell the perfect property from ski-in/ski-out condos to wide-open space ranch properties in Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Reno and beyond.
A native from the Bay Area (Lafayette, CA), Brinn spent time vacationing in North and South Lake Tahoe throughout her childhood years. In 1991, Brinn moved to North Lake Tahoe to spend a summer with her colleagues from St. Mary’s College. Brinn fell in love with the area while exploring all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications followed by traveling around Europe for a summer, Brinn followed her heart back to North Lake Tahoe/Truckee and has been a resident for over 30 years, during which time she earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Brinn lives in Truckee with her two daughters, Sophia and Katarina, and their nine animals. The family takes full advantage of the mountain lifestyle in Truckee, enjoying skiing, horse-back riding, hiking, travel, cooking, golfing, and camping, while participating in many volunteer efforts community-wide.
Brinn is a 23-year member of The Rotary Club of Truckee and was president of the club in 2010. Brinn also owns the ever-so-popular Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop event where she gives proceeds back to a non-profit each year.
